New York Nostalgia

October 13, 2016 — I opened the notes app on my phone and wrote:

It's etched into the mind like a recipe you'll never forget. It's a friend you endured the world with — that no matter how far time and space may separate you, when your eyes meet, you smile because you both know, it's feels as if not a moment has passed.

- (me on New York)

My years in New York shaped me. Living in the city is a wild adventure, even if you don’t want it to be. You build this relationship with the concrete, the sidewalks, and the building you pass on your commute to work. Like any relationship, it can break you down one minute and lift you up the next. That’s where it gets its magic, and why that no matter what, there’s no place in the world quite like it.

Here are some the spots where I felt the most magic.
